What are your favorite typeface(s) and why?: Gotham, Knockout, Franklin Gothic, many others (preferably non-pretentious)
Do you identify with any particular designer? Why?: I admire those who utilize their design discipline for social change and those who seamlessly traverse the boundaries between design, art, and writing (Elizabeth Resnick, Steven Heller, Patricia Moore, Dawn Danby, Marian Bantjes…)
Why have you chosen MICA to further your graphic design education?: Graphic design is an enduring medium that welcomes the coalescence of creativity and responsibility. Also Baltimore is a great city and oil paint emits too many fumes.
