Kevin Auer is letterpress printer and book binder. He received his BA from Connecticut College and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the history program at the University of Texas, Austin, where he completed a certificate in Book and Paper Conservation. He apprenticed as a printer and book binder and worked in private practice for a number of years as co-owner of Wolf Editions, a fine-art edition print shop in Portland, Maine. He is presently the Assistant Manuscript Conservator at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in letterpress and bookbinding at MICA.
