See Rise visually translates the challenges faced by Miami’s coastal communities against rapidly rising sea levels. This thesis employs design as a conduit for embodying information and graphically humanizing the scale of devastating impacts on the region. By imposing the experience of rising waters on audiences, this project intends to evoke pause and build awareness of South Florida’s imminent climate crisis.
