Imaginary Museum

Imaginary Museum is a collaboration between Graphic Design MFA and Curatorial Practice MFA at MICA. The project results in an exhibition and book. Curators brainstorm ideas for museums of the future and pitch their ideas to the graphic designers. Teams pair up, and the designers work to create visual brand “stories” about the museum concepts, materializing the museums through designs for logos, products, exhibitions, apps, signage, and more. Ellen Lupton and Marcus Civin, Faculty.
